Design Challenge

What is the problem you’re trying to solve?

The problems we are trying to solve are:

The security in the airports

The annoyance of flight delays

The overall user experience in the airports

1) Take a stab at framing it as a design question.

  • How do we improve the user experience of the airport and  at the same time how do we guarantee and improve the security?

2) Now state the ultimate impact you’re trying to have.

  • We want to improve the overall user experience where the user should not have nothing to worry in the processes of the airport.

3) What are some possible solutions to your problem?                                         Think broadly. It’s fine to start a project with a hunch or two, but make sure you allow for surprising outcomes.

  • AI Robot
  • Autonomous Car/Pod in the Airport
  • Public personal Air Vehicle
  • Customs Scan Hall (An active customs security system instead of reactive)

4) Finally, write down some of the context and constraints that you’re facing. They could be geographic, technological, time-based, or have to do with the population you’re trying to reach.

  • High wattage Capacitors (High Power Batteries, in the future there will be glass batteries and Biological Batteries)
  • AI (on the human or lower level)
  • Electric Jets (we don’t have them feeding on electricity and not on fossil fuels)
  • Perfect Scans (That see everything through everything and that are safe)

5) Does your original question need a tweak? Try it again.

We might have focussed on to many aspects that might have made it to broad.
